On September 14, 2024, Binh Minh Plastics and SCG jointly organized the Handover Ceremony of the Water Supply Project, in Ga Lee village, Ta Bhing commune, Nam Giang district, Quang Nam province. The project involves installing a new water supply system with a total of 3,000m of HDPE pipes installed in 45 days with the participation of Binh Minh Plastics technical team and the joining hands of Ga Lee villagers. According to Mr. To Ngol Kia - Chairman of Ta Bhing Commune People's Committee, 3 years ago, this area suffered from severe floods, causing the water system to be washed away. Currently, people and local authorities are excited and happy as the project brings clean water to serve 240 households, including over 400 members of the Ca Tu and Gie Trieng ethnic communities, providing them with access to a safe and reliable water source.

Moreover, on the occasion of the Mid-Autumn Festival, on the morning of the same day, Binh Minh Plastics and SCG organized the Green Mid-Autumn Festival for around 1,000 Co Tu and Gie Trieng ethnic children in Ta Bhing and Ta Po communes, Nam Giang district, Quang Nam province. For the first time, Co Tu and Gie Trieng ethnic children had the opportunity to participate in the bustling atmosphere of the Mid-Autumn Festival with many exciting activities such as performing arts, folk games, lantern processions, lion dances and feasts. In particular, the message of a green earth and the call for children to love the environment, their homeland and their country were conveyed in each activity, bringing a meaningful Mid-Autumn Festival. Additionally, 1,000 essential gifts and 70 scholarships were presented to these vulnerable individuals to help them improve their lives. The Mid-Autumn Festival event was the contribution of more than 100 staff from Binh Minh Plastics, SCG, and partners such as Vietinbank, Quang Nam University, local distributors in Quang Nam such as Long Hai, Thanh Khoa, Chien Hoa as well as local authorities, Nam Giang District Red Cross Society, Ta Bhing Commune People's Committee, Ta Bhing Commune Police and teachers of schools to bring a warm and fulfilling Mid-Autumn Festival to children with lots of joy and laughter.

Additionally, hosting the Green Mid-Autumn Festival for ethnic minority children is an initiative we are deeply passionate about, to nurture and grow future generations, bringing joy to them.”

During an interview at the Handover Ceremony of the Water Supply Project, Mr. To Ngol Kia, Chairman of the People's Committee of Ta Bhing Commune, shared: "This project is extremely meaningful for the people of Ga Lee village. For over three years, the villagers have not had access to a stable source of clean water. Thanks to this project, their quality of life will significantly improve."

In addition, many villagers at Ga Lee expressed their deep gratitude during the ceremony: "Previously, the water was often contaminated, making it impossible to drill wells for use, which caused many difficulties in our daily lives. We had to fetch water from upstream. Thanks to the support from Bình Minh Plastics, our lives have improved greatly with clean water now available in the village."

Earlier, on the morning of September 13, 2024, the Handover Ceremony for the Water System Renovation project and a gift-giving event took place at the Hoa Binh Village in Tam Ky City. The project involved repairing and upgrading the water supply system to ensure high-quality drinking water for 49 orphans, 22 elderly residents, and 71 children with disabilities at the village .
