Vietnam Airlines Offers 40 per cent Fare Discount to Asian Countries
National flag carrier Vietnam Airlines will reduce its fare prices by 30-40 per cent on routes from Vietnam to Asian countries and territories, including Japan, Taiwan, Hong Kong, Thailand, Singapore and Malaysia.
The discount is applied between February 22 and March 31.
The most reduction is for the route from Hanoi to Singapore, which costs a passenger only US$60 million for a single ticket.
A return ticket from Ho Chi Minh City to Nagoya and Fukuoka of Japan is down to US$738 a passenger; US$368 from Ho Chi Minh City to Taipei and Kaohsiung; and US$318 from Ho Chi Minh City to Hong Kong.
A return ticket for air routes from Ho Chi Minh City to Malaysia and Bangkok in Thailand is now US$168 a passenger (a reduction of 50 per cent). Business class fare from Ho Chi Minh City to Bangkok is US$278.
