Ben En National Park
Ben En National Park is located in Nhu Thanh district, 46 km southwest of Thanh Hoa city. The park owns 16,000-ha area of forests, mountains, rivers, and lakes that still retains its pristine beauty with a diverse and rich flora and fauna, such as elephants, bears, tigers, white-cheeked langurs, lat hoa, and cho chi; in particular, the park has a thousand-year-old green lim tree.
Ben En also has 21 large and small islands, creating an extremely charming natural landscape. The Hai Van mountain range has many beautiful caves, such as Ngoc cave, and Suoi Tien cave... attracting tourists who love to explore and adventure. Pu Luong Nature Reserve
Located in Quan Hoa and Ba Thuoc districts, Pu Luong Nature Reserve is known as the miniature Northwest with an area of over 17,600 hectares.
Coming here, visitors have many options, such as checking in the beautiful terraced fields, experiencing the trekking route to the top of Pu Luong at 1,700m high; visiting villages and learning about the customs and practices of the simple and rustic Thai and Muong people at the Doan market, Kho Muong village, Don village, Eo Ken village...
The best time to visit Pu Luong is from late May to early June or late September to early October, when the entire Pu Luong forest is covered in a golden color of curved terraced fields.
Hieu Waterfall
Hieu Waterfall is located in Hieu Village, Co Lung Commune, a highland commune of Ba Thuoc District. The source of the waterfall is Hieu Stream. At the end of the waterfall is a small lake, the water level here is just over 1m, becoming a natural swimming pool for visitors.
Coming here, visitors can easily find unique features in the irrigation system of the Thai and Muong people with connected water wheels and bamboo pipes leading water from above. In addition, visitors can also explore caves, enjoy the fresh air, let their souls follow the melody of the vast mountains and forests, or enjoy the delicious dishes, such as duck, stream fish, bitter bamboo shoots, stream brains...
Voi Waterfall
Voi Waterfall is located in Van Du town, Thach Thanh district, about 70 km from Thanh Hoa city center. The first impression when seeing this waterfall is its wild, majestic beauty, rushing streams creating vivid echoes and a very poetic and lyrical scene.
Summer is the best time to visit Voi waterfall, when the waterfall pours down in white, creating mysterious, misty layers of waterfalls, looking from afar like two water cannons spouting water. Coming here, visitors will be able to soak in the cool water, relax in the midst of beautiful nature and check-in to capture beautiful moments between the clouds, mountains and rivers.
Tu Thuc Cave
From Thanh Hoa city, about 50 km to the Northeast, visitors will arrive at Tu Thuc Cave in Nga Thien commune, Nga Son district. Tu Thuc Cave is one of the most beautiful, majestic and mysterious caves. When visiting the cave, visitors will admire the stalactites in the shape of "golden tree", "silver tree", "duck pond", "dragon incubating eggs", "gong stand", "drum stand", "eight-sound ward", "fairy chess board". The difference and uniqueness of Tu Thuc Cave is the path "to the fairyland" and a path down to the "underworld". Coming to Tu Thuc Cave, visitors feel like they are lost in a magical fairyland.
