General Secretary To Lam visits the Da Nang Semiconductor & AI Center for Research and Training (DSAC) on the occasion of the 50th anniversary of the city's Reunification Day
He attended the opening day of the first semiconductor design training course at the Da Nang Semiconductor & AI Center, which aims to train 80 talented students in Da Nang City and thousands more by 2030. The center operates with the main goal of training high-quality human resources to promote the development of semiconductor, blockchain and AI technology in Vietnam.
During his visit to the center, General Secretary To Lam emphasized that advanced science and technology is an essential path to the destination, with great potential and contributions to the economy. He highly appreciated the efforts of companies in accessing and developing modern technologies, hoping that Da Nang would not only be a place for research, design and testing, but also become a manufacturer and exporter of high-tech products such as semiconductor chips for the world.
Following their signed cooperation in semiconductor and high-tech development, Vikki Digital Bank and the Da Nang Semiconductor & AI Center for Research and Training announced their collaboration to develop high-quality talent in key technology sectors for Da Nang and Vietnam.
Vikki Digital Bank together with other units like Galaxy Holding invested in a modern LAB system, with VND100 billion for the first year, which would be spent on equipment, training programs and operating costs.
Accordingly, Vikki Digital Bank and its member units in the ecosystem will coordinate with Da Nang City to launch high-quality human resources training and development programs for semiconductor and artificial intelligence industries and make products and services to serve socioeconomic development and to meet the needs of businesses and people. At the same time, the two sides will jointly research, develop and move towards supporting and providing semiconductor design and semiconductor simulation services using the world's leading Synopsys ZeBu-5 system.
Mr. Le Van Thanh, Deputy General Director of Vikki Digital Bank, said: “This program is part of a series of initiatives launched by HDBank and Vikki Digital Bank, who undertook the task of developing Make-in-Vietnam blockchain technology, witnessed by General Secretary To Lam on January 15, 2025. The investment for modern laboratories and Synopsys Zebu-5 equipment is a strong commitment to fostering innovation, building world-class semiconductor and AI personnel for Vietnam, supporting high-tech development and applying new achievements to the banking and finance industry to help shape the future of semiconductor and AI industries, thus actively and effectively contributing to the successful implementation of Resolution 57-NQ/TW.”
