Visa, a world leader in digital payments, has announced a collaboration with ETC Technology Systems Corporation (ETC) and EPAY Services Corporation (EPAY), two pioneers in Vietnam's IT and digital payments landscape, to deploy Visa holistic solutions, from acceptance to card issuing.
This collaboration aims to provide citizens with an enhanced experience and accelerate the adoption of digital payments, while supporting the digital transformation of public services across Vietnam.
This initiative underscores Visa's commitment to driving digital transformation and financial inclusion in Vietnam by expanding the digital payment ecosystem. The deployment of Visa Value-Added Services (VAS) will enable ETC-EPAY to offer additional payment services in the financial, transportation, customs, and healthcare sectors, contributing to the growth of Vietnam's digital economy.

Building upon the foundation of the Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) for comprehensive cooperation in the field of public services signed by Visa and ETC-EPAY in August 2024, the two parties have been actively collaborating to develop and implement practical solutions for public service providers nationwide. These solutions include non-stop toll collection, automated payments at hospital kiosks, virtual card issuance with small limits and streamlined procedures empowering users to proactively pay for utility services. This close collaboration between Visa and ETC-EPAY promises to benefit both organizations, while creating meaningful value for the community.
