As an activity of Festival Hue 2006, the Culture - Tourism - Trade Fair and Exhibition of Festival Hue 2006 will carry out in the Sports Centre of Thua Thien Hue province from 3rd to 9th of June 2006 according to decisions of Deputy Prime Minister Pham Gia Khiem, Minister of Trade, and the Vietnam Chamber of Commerce and Industry (VCCI).
Once again the Trade Fair and Exhibition Joint Stock Company - CIAT was selected as the organiser of this event.
The fair will include 800 - 1000 booths of domestic and foreign enterprises in three areas of culture, tourism and trade. The fair is an activity to diversify the festival Hue 2006 and a chance for culture, economic and trade exchange, contributing for socio-economy development.
In area of trade, beside the participation of domestic enterprises of industry and agriculture products, aqua products, construction, home decoration, electronic goods, automobile, motorcycle, fashion, beauty products, food, healthcare products, pharmaceutical products, etc. other associations, enterprises from 20 countries and territories such as China, Thailand, Laos, Cambodia, Indonesia, Malaysia, Singapore, Pakistan, Taiwan, etc. will also attend.
During the fair, the People's committee of Thue Thien Hue, in cooperation with CIAT, will organise a conference to introduce 145 items to call for investment in areas of tourism and trade of Thue Thien Hue in period of 2006-2010.
