In March 2025, LBBW celebrated the 30th anniversary of its representative office in Hanoi (Vietnam). Since the establishment of the representative office in 1995, LBBW has supported German companies in the region as well as Vietnamese companies active in global trade. The range of products and support in Vietnam is constantly being expanded.

One focus of the work of the Hanoi Representative Office has always been on individual export financing solutions. In recent years, the promotion of sustainable investments in the areas of infrastructure and renewable energies has also gained in importance. In fact, LBBW has financed around 10% of the wind turbines in operation in Vietnam.
In June, LBBW received again the “TXF Industry Choice Award 2025 as Bank of the Year.” Leading importers and exporters from all over the world have chosen it as one of the best banks for export finance for the seventh time.
