Festival OCOP Vietnam 2026 will feature 350 booths showcasing products from 34 provinces and cities, creating a space to promote OCOP products, facilitate trade connections and expand markets.

The Ministry of Agriculture and Environment and the Ho Chi Minh City People’s Committee recently developed a plan to jointly organize Festival OCOP Vietnam 2026. The event is expected to take place over four days, from December 3-6, 2026, on Nguyen Hue pedestrian street, Saigon Ward, Ho Chi Minh City, under the theme “Innovation from Tradition - Breakthrough to the Future.”
According to the plan, Festival OCOP Vietnam 2026 will be organized under the model of an “Open - multifunctional - integrated experiential space,” covering approximately 3,200 m², equivalent to 350 standard booths. The spaces will be designed to display, demonstrate and introduce OCOP products, combined with the promotion of rural tourism and regional cultural values.
Among them, the “Essence of Vietnam’s Local Heritage” space will have a scale equivalent to at least 200 booths, including OCOP areas of 34 provinces and cities, the Ho Chi Minh City OCOP area, a space for the creation and introduction of OCOP handicraft and fine-art products, as well as areas decorated with landscaping, flowers and ornamental plants.
The “OCOP Innovation and Integration” space will have a scale equivalent to at least 150 booths, focusing on export OCOP products, green OCOP and digital transformation, rural tourism demonstrations, cultural experiences and beverages. It will also introduce high-tech OCOP products, traceability models, brand building, e-commerce, and OCOP startup and innovation spaces.
The Festival will not stop at exhibition activities but will also aim to establish direct connections between OCOP producers and businesses, distributors, retail systems, e-commerce platforms and investors. Activities will be measured based on the number of visitors, the number of trade-matching sessions and transaction value.
One notable activity will be the Vietnam OCOP Product Competition, which is expected to feature around 68 participating products. Eligible entries are outstanding and distinctive OCOP products that have been certified as four-star products or have the potential to achieve five stars. The evaluation will prioritize innovation in product ideas, packaging and design, as well as distinctive characteristics associated with the product story.
In addition, the OCOP and Green Economy - Net Zero Forum will focus on issues such as the development of green OCOP products, emissions reduction, the circular economy, exports and digital transformation. As part of the forum, trade-matching activities will also be organized between OCOP producers and businesses, distributors, retail systems, e-commerce platforms and investors, with the signing of OCOP product trade-connection contracts also expected to take place.
The Festival will also bring digital commerce directly into the program with the “Vietnam OCOP Livestream Festival.” Livestream sessions will introduce and sell products in categories including food, beverages, medicinal herbs, handicrafts and fine arts, while honoring outstanding OCOP producers on TikTok Shop.

According to Vũ Ngọc Đăng, Head of the Ho Chi Minh City Sub-Department of Rural Development, incorporating green economy, digital transformation and Net Zero into the Festival program reflects a new development orientation for the OCOP Program. It not only focuses on product quality and ratings but also aims for sustainable development, emissions reduction, technology application and higher added value throughout the production, processing and consumption chain.
Alongside trade promotion activities, the Festival will also feature artistic performances, cultural experiences, handicrafts and fine arts, rural tourism and cuisine, thereby introducing product stories and the distinctive cultural values of each region.
For Ho Chi Minh City, being selected to host Festival OCOP Vietnam 2026 not only affirms its role as the country’s economic, commercial, service and innovation center but also provides an opportunity to promote outstanding OCOP products, urban agriculture, traditional craft villages and rural tourism models to localities, businesses, international organizations and tourists.
Through the Festival, Ho Chi Minh City will have additional opportunities to introduce outstanding OCOP products, distinctive agricultural products, traditional craft villages and rural tourism models to localities, businesses, international organizations and a large number of tourists.
With its national scale, Festival OCOP Vietnam 2026 is expected to attract a large number of domestic and international delegates, businesses, investors and visitors, contributing to stimulating consumption, promoting trade, services and tourism, while enhancing the position of Ho Chi Minh City and the Vietnam OCOP Program in the process of integration and sustainable development.
