On behalf of the Vietnamese business community, it is my distinct pleasure to cordially invite all leading businesses in the region to the most important business event in Asia Pacific, the APEC CEO Summit 2006, to be held in Hanoi from 17th to the 19th of November, 2006.
Since the first APEC CEO Summit in 1996, the business community has always demonstrated its commitment to enhancing the prosperity of the APEC region by annually coming together to network and exchange ideas on central issues that affect us all. Amidst the rapid trade and investment liberalization in the era of the knowledge-based economy, it is the business community that has made great contributions to the dynamism of APEC region.
Under the theme “Towards One Community: Creating New Opportunities for Shared Development”, the APEC CEO Summit 2006 in Hanoi, Viet Nam will be another opportunity for business leaders to deliberate on most imperative issues that will advance APEC towards a community of sustainable development. We also do believe that Asia-Pacific business leaders will discover abundant business and investment opportunities in Vietnam, one of the fastest growing economies in the world.
