New Firm Invests in Making Autos in Vietnam
Ha Giang Electrical Mechanics Joint Stock Co. has invested VND128 billion (US$8 million) to build an auto production plant in the northern mountainous province of Ha Giang.
The company has completed the construction of production lines and begun assembling light trucks of 750 kg, priced VND76 million (US$4,750) each, Nguyen Cuong, general director of the company, said.
The production line will turn out buses of 25 seats soon, Cuong added.
The production line has been added an electrostatic painting line with an annual capacity of 10,000 units.
Ha Giang Electrical Mechanics Joint Stock Co. now has 40 sales agents and 60 showrooms nationwide. P.V
