Vietnamese pottery products will be displayed at the 10th International Pottery Fair held in Namur province’s Andenne city of Beilgium from June 4-11, according to the Ministry of Trade.

At the fair, various Vietnamese pottery products, which mostly come from famous local pottery villages including Dong Trieu, Phu Lang and Bat Trang, will be displayed under the “Red River Pottery” theme.

The international pottery fair, held in Andenne city every two years, has three main parts, including an international pottery fair, an art exhibition on modern pottery and an international pottery exhibition.

In other news, pottery products are considered a key export item of Vietnamese handicraft. Pottery exports raked in around $44.4 million in turnover in the first two months of this year, up 1.7 per cent on year and accounting for as many as 48.9 per cent of Vietnam’s total export revenue from handicrafts.

Among 60 importers, Germany, Britain, Japan, France, Holland, Taiwan and the US have emerged as the biggest over the past time, the Ministry said.
