The Hongkong and Shanghai Banking Corporation Limited (HSBC) on June 6, 2006 opened its new, dedicated Trade Services Centre which is located at 235 Dong Khoi St, District 1, Ho Chi Minh City.
At the opening ceremony, HSBC was horoured by the presence of His Royal Highness the Duke of York, KG, KCVO, ADC, UK Special Representative for International Trade and Investment.
Mr. Alain Cany, President and CEO of HSBC in Vietnam said “Our Trade business has seen significant business volume growth over the past two years putting pressure on existing resources. Our current premises inhibit further growth and the new dedicated Trade Services Centre will enable current and future business growth to be effectively supported in an appropriate, customer-friendly, business environment”.

In addition, putting the relevant staff together in one dedicated centre is purposely designed to provide a 'one stop' shop for our Trade customers”
