The Ho Chi Minh City-based Thien Phuoc Company has signed a contract worth US$700,000 to ship 15 containers of silk to Saudi Arabia.

The company, however, has yet to reveal the delivery time.

Thien Phuoc plans to export brocade and brocade-made overcoats worth US$2.5 million to India and Malaysia this year, the company said, adding that the markets showed great potential.

Now, the company has imported cloth and other support materials from France, Japan and Singapore, serving the high fashion brand name Bolzano for domestic and export markets.
