Vietnam to Join Int'l Textile Fair in Shanghai

Vietnamese garment and textile firms will take part in the 12th International Textile Exhibition to be held in Shanghai, China from July 5-9, according to State media.

Shanghaitex is the leading textile machinery fair in Asia.

The trip to Shanghai by Vietnamese enterprises aims to facilitate exchanges of experience, finding new trade partners and updating technology.

Vietnam expects to earn US$5.5 billion from garment and textile exports this year, up nearly 14.6 per cent against 2005.
