Vietnam ICT in Finance Conference & Exhibition to Open Late August

International Data Group in Vietnam (IDG Vietnam) and the Informatics and Financial Statistics Department under the Ministry of Finance will jointly host the 3rd Vietnam ICT in Finance Conference & Exhibition. Themed ICT for Securities & Insurance towards WTO Integration, this annual event will take place at Melia Hotel, Hanoi from August 29-31, 2006.

During the event, two roundtable conferences on “ICT solutions for Securities industry” and “IT solutions for Insurance industry” will also be held. In addition to conferences, more than 40 domestic and international firms will showcase their latest products and solutions for the securities and insurance industries.

Mr. Nguyen Dinh Thuan, Event and Exhibition Director of IDG Vietnam, said: “This event will provide an overview on the insurance and securities industries of Vietnam, on real situations in information and communication technology application as well as applications of new technologies to effectively support Vietnam when it enters the WTO.
