Securities Companies Fees

Vietnam Association of Securities Businesses (VASB) has sent a letter to the Chairman of the State Securities Commission requesting the amendment of Circular 01/2000/TT-UBCK on the fees levied on clients of securities businesses.

VASB recommends a floor fee (obligatory minimum fee) for securities services to improve securities business environment. The floor fee will help securities companies in the competition with foreign securities organizations as the latter with bigger financial resources can sustain loss for longer time to attract customers.
