Ireland Presents 160 Books to Hanoi National University

On the occasion of the ASEM ICT Ministerial Meeting 2006 from November 28 to December 3, Ireland’s Minister for Communications, Marine and Natural Resources Noel Dempsey paid a visit to the National Library in Hanoi and presented 160 books on culture and history to the library on November 28.

 

By reading the books, Vietnamese people can know more about the land and the people of Ireland throughout its history. 

 

Director of the library Pham The Khang highly appreciated the invaluable presents and wished more care and cooperation from Ireland. He also expressed the wish to cooperate with the National Library of Ireland.

 

These books will be displayed at a six-day EU book exhibition starting from December 4.
