Food & Drink Expo 2006

Food & Drink Expo 2006, jointly hosted by the Ho Chi Minh City People’s Committee, the Ho Chi Minh City Service of Trade and the Ho Chi Minh City Food and Foodstuff Association (FFA) from December 13-17, 2006 in the Military Zone 7 Gymnasium.

F & D Expo 2006 will draw the participation of 80 exhibitors, which will showcase their products in 175 booths. The trade fair includes various gastronomy cultural events such as “Native Fragrance”, “Three-region gastronomy festival” and “Gastronomy practice.” There will be a dialogue on food and drink import regulations from Vietnam to other countries around the world.

During the event, several seminars on conditions to get Halal certificates to bring food and drinks to Islamic countries, and others to export foods and drinks to the US and on FDA regulations will be opened, aiming to introduce and advertise the food and beverage industry of Ho Chi Minh City to domestic and foreign consumers and traders.
