METRO Cash & Carry to Open New Wholesales Market
METRO Cash & Carry will open a new wholesales centre in District 12, Ho Chi Minh City on December 14, 2006. The METRO Hiep Phu will officially open at 15:00 on the same day.
METRO Cash & Carry Hiep Phu is 30 minute drive from Ho Chi Minh City’s downtown. The centre has a campus of 55,000 square metres, including 6,000 shopping areas and car parking areas for 800 cars. The centres will open its door from 6 am to 21 pm daily..
The total capital for the METRO Cash & Carry Hiep Phu was over US$15 million. With more than 15,000 food and non-food products, METRO Hiep Phu can serve from 3,000 to 5,000 customers a day.
The main and unique customers of the centre are businesses: Merchant (small food stores and independent retailers); HoReCa (luxury hotels, pubs, clubs and food suppliers in Vietnam), and CBUs (stationery suppliers).
