Hungary to Boost Cooperation with Vietnam
Hungary hopes to promote its traditional friendship and long-term and comprehensive cooperation with Vietnam, particularly in the fields of animal husbandry, education and training, and tourism, said a special envoy of the Hungarian Prime Minister.
The special envoy, Medgyessy Peter, met with Vietnamese Prime Minister Nguyen Tan Dung in Hanoi on March 19 as part of his visit to Vietnam.
At the meeting, Dung expressed Hungary’s will to continue assisting Vietnam in economic development, education and training, and other areas.
Dung said the multi-faceted cooperation between the two countries has experienced positive developments, but the scale and value of economic-commercial ties have not reached full potential or matched the fine political relations.
He suggested the two countries need to create favorable conditions for relevant agencies, organizations and enterprises in both sides to work out concrete measures to tap each other’s potential and strength, bringing relations between the two countries, particularly economic cooperation, to a new height.
The Hungarian special envoy conveyed an invitation from the Hungarian Prime Minister to the host.
