Cooperation in Trade Development

The trade and tourism departments of Dong Nai Province and Ho Chi Minh City have recently joined hands to introduce seven projects to HCM City investors. The seven projects are Dau Giay, Cam Ly and La Nga commercial centres, Gia Ray and Vinh An supermarkets, and Xuan My and Bao Binh markets. This is part of a cooperation framework between the two localities.

A HCM City official said the two departments signed cooperation agreements to develop trade in Dong Nai Province. By the end of June 2007, Saigon Co.op will open its new supermarket in Bien Hoa City of Dong Nai Province. In addition, Saigon Co.op will soon invest in building supermarkets in developing locations.
