PNJ, US Firms Cooperate in Jewelry Manufacturing
Vietnam’s Phu Nhuan Jewelry Company (PNJ) and two US firms, including Zalemark and DC&D, have signed cooperation agreement on manufacturing and distributing jewelry, PNJ chairman Cao Thi Ngoc Dung said Wednesday.
The deal was signed during Vietnam President Nguyen Minh Triet’s visit to the US last week.
Under the agreement, PNJ will act as an official representative of Zalemark in Vietnam. Zalemark will its transfer technology to PNJ and help the firm make sophisticated products.
PNJ will process high-grade jewelry, especially diamond, for DC&D Co. to sell in the US.
Dung said the agreement will help PNJ increase its revenues by US$5.3 million to US$20 million. (Youth)
