Bach Tuyet Cotton Co. to Build Obstetrics & Paediatrics Hospital

Bach Tuyet Cotton Joint Stock Company (BBT) opened its annual general shareholder meeting 2007 at First Hotel in Ho Chi Minh City on June 23, 2007. The meeting was attended by 92 shareholders, representing 5,533,420 shares.

 

At the function, the BBT Board of Directors put forward the plan to build the Obstetrics and Paediatrics Hospital on 5,000 square metres in its old workshop in Tan Phu District. The 120-bed facility will have 12 stories and two basements. The hospital will have a 1,000-square metre convalescence building for staff and relatives of patients.

 

It will be also the research centre of the hospital. Total investment capital is VND200 billion (US$13 million) and the facility is slated for operation in July 2009.

 

During this event, BBT announced its issuance of an additional 10 million shares, valued VND100 billion, to raise chartered capital from VND90 billion to VND190 billion.
