Programme on Building up Export Capacity for SMEs

Programme on building up export capacity for small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) called “Trade Vietnam” is being implemented from 2006 to 2008 by InWEnt organization of Germany and SMEs Promotion Centre (SMEs PC) under VCCI.
 
Main targets:
-Improving capacity to access to EU market for Vietnam SMEs by transferring knowledge and trade skills via training courses.
-Improving training capacity for SMEs PC via training activities and designing training documents.
 
Programme’s trainees: directors, managers, decision makers of SMEs
 
Activities in 2007:
06 training courses on trade and export promotion and one market survey in Tendence Lifestyle fair in Germany (Exposure tour) in late August 2007 for manufacturers of interior decoration products and handicrafts. The fair will take place in Frankfurt on a display area of 200,000 sq m with the participation of more than 3,000 exhibitors from 80 countries and around 100,000 visitors who are business people from all over the world.
 
Training courses in 2007 will be organized in Hanoi and Quang Nam province with the three topics:
Course 1: “How to successfully access to Europe market with interior decoration products and handicrafts”
Course 2: “Developing products, Designing and Requirements from Europe market (laws, regulations and standards)”
Course 3: “Training to improve and develop products, distribution channels, promotion and negotiation”
The organizing board will provide a large financial support for the survey fee for enterprises participating in the training courses.
