Phu My Hung to Build US$100Mln Trade Complex

Phu My Hung Corporation has recently decided to invest $100 million in building a 10-ha semicircle trade and service complex imitated as Singapore Bay scenery, local media reported.
 
The semicircle is a spot of new trading and financial center comprising of Semicircle Lake, Canal Area and International Trade and Finance Area.
 
The complex will be divided into three divisions, namely high-ranking trade center and hotel area; general service area for apartment, eating and drinking and entertainment; and restaurant and spa area.
 
The semicircle lake will be built in two phases. In the first phase scheduled for this year, work will start on low stories and shopping service with combined area of 30,000 sq.m and 87,000 sq.m of apartment for rent.
The company will build high stories for sale and lease in the second phase.
 
The semicircle lake is the first place in Vietnam building flyover bridges without link with some high buildings, facilitating consumers’ transport and creating good scenery.
 
Phu My Hung invited 25 architects from 13 countries under six corporations to consult for the project.
 
Licensed in 1993, Phu My Hung Corporation, a joint venture between the Tan Thuan Industrial Park Development Company and the Taiwan-based Central Trading & Development Group, has 50-year land use rights for 750 ha of land in the Saigon South New Urban Area.
 
Total investment is estimated at US$242 million. (Pioneer)
