S. Korea Provides Tech Assistance to Vietnam's SMEs

The Ho Chi Minh City Department of Science and Technology, South Korea Industrial Technology Institute and South Korea Small and Medium Business Assistance Centre (Department of Posts and Telecom) on July 5 signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) implementing technological, industrial and production cooperation.

 

The main goal of this MoU is the South Korean side helping Vietnamese small and medium enterprises (SMEs). Particularly, the two sides will exchange information, transfer new production technologies, advise equipment renovation and technology transfer, and develop advanced technology to serve both Vietnamese and South Korean SMEs.

 

However, the technical assistance and technology transfer mainly came from South Korea, focusing on machine manufacturing, industrial robot production, metallurgy, new material, nano material, electronics, biology and casting technology.
