First E-auction Portal Launched in Vietnam
Some relevant agencies in Vietnam August 7 jointly launched an e-auction portal dgMarket Vietnam, the first of its kind in the Southeast Asian country, local media reported.
The Sustainable Development Center under the Vietnam Confederation of Science and Technical Associations, and Small-and-Medium-sized Enterprise Support Center under the Vietnam Chamber of Commerce and Industry attended the launching event.
DgMarket Vietnam is an on-line market place for government procurement information such as tender notices, contract awards, and bidding documents.
The e-portal will allow organizations and companies to access an advanced online bidding solution. Product suppliers will be able to acquire trading opportunities throughout the world.
DgMarket Vietnam is linked to DgMarket, a global database and e-mail alert service that helps businesses find tender opportunities at home and abroad. Basic data and search capabilities for all tenders are currently available in 17 languages. (Vietnam & World Economy, VNA)
