An Phuoc Garment Embroidery and Shoes Co. Ltd, the successor of An Phuoc Garment Manufacturing, was set up in 1992 with 50 workers and 40 sewing machines, specialising in manufacturing for exporting enterprises. In 1993, An Phuoc increased its capital, acquired 300 new sewing machines, employed 400 new workers, and transformed its name into An Phuoc Garment Embroidery and Shoes Co. Ltd. The company specialised in making export products for NISHO IWAI, ITOCHU and MINOYA, leading Japanese companies. Its main products were jackets, pants, khaki pants, child-wear, Mikihouse, underwear and sports shoes. In 1995, the company signed an agreement to make sports shoes for Hope Victor Company and FILA Company, and directly export to the EU market. Currently, An Phuoc’s major markets are the EU (30 per cent), the USA (20 per cent), Japan (10 per cent) and Vietnam (25 per cent).

From its experience in quality management, market expansion and the manufacturing process of apparel and shoes for export, An Phuoc decided to introduce An Phuoc-trademarked products and develop its own sales outlet network nationwide. Apart from 60 outlets, An Phuoc also has more than 100 sales agents throughout Vietnam. In 1997, An Phuoc bought exclusive licence from Pierre Cardin for chemise, vests pants and men’s underwear (Pierre Cardin (R) is a leading French fashion brand since 1950). Currently, An Phuoc has 3,200 full time and part time workers.

At present, An Phuoc brands have won the prestige of Vietnamese and international customers. With lively, creative and exclusive designs, An Phuoc has its own characteristic fashion products.
