Industrial explosive is important to mining, building of public works, hydro power and water conservancy projects and production of building materials. Instead of importing in the past, Vinacomin mining chemicals company can now produce advanced and clean explosive as Zecno, Anfo, water resistant Anfo, packaged and unpackaged explosives.
The company combines production with security and safety, import and export activities, after sale service, transport, designing and detonating explosive at mining areas.
After 40 years of development, from a depot of explosives imported from the Soviet Union and China, the company has now 14 units in all three parts of Vietnam with modern technology, 2,883 tonnes of land and water transport vehicles, 90 trucks, 4 sea-going ships, 3 tug-boats, 2 self-propelled ferries, 8 river launches, 31 specialized trucks for detonating explosive. The storage of over 5,000 tonnes of explosive has attained criteria of TCVN 4586-1997 together with 3 specialized ports.
In the past, the traditional detonation of explosives at construction sites cost more with less efficiency and caused adverse impact on human and environment. The company now can apply new technology and produce safe and environment friendly explosive. The company has three production lines producing over 35.000 tonnes of Anfo and water resistant Anfo explosives used in mining tunnels.
Together with the research, production, transport and storage of explosives, the company also provides services of evaluation, detonation, designing underwater and on land detonation, land and water transport. With specialized equipment and experienced staff, the company is gaining high reputation among clients and partners.
Due to its achievements, the company has been awarded Labour Orders First, Second and Third Class, Independence Order, Heroic Unit and many Orders and Medals for the company and staff members.
