US$4-Mln Titanium Slag Refining Plant under Construction in Central Vietnam
The Kenee Vietnam Mineral Joint Stock Co. is building a titanium slag refining plant with total investment of VND65 billion (US$4 million) in central Phu Yen province.
In the first phase, the facility, located in Dong Bac Song Cau Industrial Park, will refine 5,500 tons of titanium slag and 2,700 tons of cast iron annually.
In the second phase, the plant’s capacity will be raised to 20,000 tons of titanium slag and 10,000 tons of cast iron.
This is the 19th plant to be built in the industrial park. It is expected to go on stream by the end of this year. (VNS)
