At VCCI head office, the Pacific Trade Centre (ICT-Pacific) introduced the project to set up a centre to introduce Vietnamese goods in Pacific Commercial Centre. On this occasion, the Vietnam Business Forum had an interview with Ms Trinh Thi Mui, President and CEO of ICT-Pacific.
Would you mind introducing Pacific Commercial Centre?
The Pacific Commercial Centre was set up four years ago. It is located at Marzahnerstr 17 Street in the heart of Berlin. With an area of 51,000 square metres, this is a big and modern Vietnamese centre in Germany. The centre has a fully occupied commercial area covering 17,000square metres.
This is the first wholly Vietnamese-owned centre in Germany. It has 105 booths of 80-350 square metres. It has 28 gates with convenient access to car parks covering over 30,000square metres.
We target to build a trade promotion centre at the Pacific Commercial Centre, which will link Vietnamese companies and international partners. It will supply Vietnamese goods for other commercial centres in Europe.
What are the criteria to have a place at the trade promotion centre here and what are benefits for companies with representative there?
The trade promotion centre locates inside the Pacific Commercial Centre; thus, enterprises can know demand and taste of the market in Germany. This 1,500 square metre centre has a conference room covering 1,000square metres.
Companies in the world will open representative offices in a market when they want to penetrate there. Thus, with representative offices in Germany, Vietnamese companies will have more chance to directly contact customers. They will see more than 100 potential partners who have occupied places in the centre.
ICT-Pacific Group, the investor of Pacific Commercial Centre, will create the most favourable conditions for Vietnamese companies by offering a very soft leasing rate of 1,200 euro a month, which includes 25 square metre office, electricity fee, water fee, air conditioning system, advertisement and others.
How will ICT-Pacific create favourable conditions for Vietnamese enterprises?
Apart from above-mentioned special treatments, we will reserve best places for Vietnamese enterprises. Currently, Vietnamese companies hold 80 per cent of favourable places in the Pacific Commercial Centre. Besides, Vietnamese companies are offered six-month fee leasing charge. We will introduce business opportunities for tenants at the centre.
