Vinashin Affiliate Gets License to Build US$50-Mln IP in Northern Vietnam
Vinashin Trading and Manufacturing Joint Stock Company (Shinec), has received a license from northern Haiphong city’s authority to build an industrial park worth VND798.14 billion (US$50 million), the Investment newspaper reported.
The company, an affiliate of state-owned Vinashin Business Group, will develop the Vinashin-Shinec Industrial Park (SIP) on 263 hectares in the south of Kien Bridge in Thuy Nguyen district.
The park will house production facilities, warehouses, specialized houses and supporting facilities.
The investor will have completed two waste water treatment stations for the park by June 2010 and the whole project by 2014.
The northern port city, which is now home to three industrial parks namely Normura, Dinh Vu and Do Son, plans to develop additional 13 parks in the coming time. (Investment)
