AAA Provides Issurance for Cellphones

On 9 December 2008, AAA Asurance Corporation officialy announces its insurance product for cell phones in Vietnam. This is a new product of AAA in corporation with Red8 Media, Maiden, Vinasure and distribution partners.

 

Accordingly, AAA will be the supplier of cell phone insurance in Vietnam; Red8 Media is the reinsurance broker (having reinsurance brokerage contract with AAA); Vinasure is an enterprise with legal entity in Vietnam, authorised by AAA to be in charge of distributing, developing, managing, issuing Insurance Certificate, collecting fee, receiving complaints and dealing with compensation; A nhận bảo hiểm, thu phí, tiếp nhận khiếu nại và giải quyết bồi thường; A Telecommunication Company, which is a leading retailer in Vietnam, is a distribution partner.

 

This is an insurance product which is present in Vietnam market for the first time. When taking this type of insurance, in case a customer gets her/his cell phone lost, damaged due to sudden accident, water, call time abused as a consequence of loss but in the restricted geographical area and within insurance period, etc., AAA will have her/his phone repaired or replaced with a phone of the same make, years of usage or an equivalent amount of money without exceeding VND17 million (in case the phone cannot be replaced by a phone of the same make and years of usage).
