Japan, Vietnam to Hold 2nd Talk on Coal-Mineral Policy Jan 15
Japan and Vietnam will jointly hold the second talk on coal-mineral policy in coal-rich Quang Ninh province’s Ha Long city on January 15, according to the Japanese Embassy in Hanoi.
Vietnamese participants will include representatives from the Ministries of Industry-Trade, Planning and Investment, Natural Resources and Environment, and Vinacomin.
Japanese attendees will be representatives from the Ministry of Economics-Trade-Industry, Fuel Resources Department, JBIC, JCOAL and NEDO.
The two sides will discuss changing tendency of coal-mineral policy and demand-supply in the two countries.
Participants will also hear a report on implementation of some projects on coal and minerals which Vietnam and Japan are join hands to carry out, and discuss cooperation directions in the time to come.
Vietnam is supplying important resources such as anthracite and race earth. (Pioneer)
