The Ministry of Construction (MoC) has proposed the prime minister to add four cement projects to Vietnam Cement Industry Development Plan until 2010, a vision to 2020.

All the four cement projects are set to have a capacity of 2,500 tons of clinker per day each.

The MoC suggested two cement projects in northern Ha Nam province, namely, the VND1,479-billion Xuan Thanh cement project invested by Xuan Thanh Construction Investment & Development Co. Ltd, and the VND1,289-billion Tan Tao cement project invested by Tan Tao Industry Investment Joint Stock Company.

The ministry also proposed the 2,500-ton-of-clinker-per-day Viet Duc cement project in northern Bac Giang province.

The fourth is the Saigon-Tan Ky cement project in central Nghe An province invested by Saigon Investment Group. (Investment)
