Vietnam Has 30,000 Tons of Cashew Nuts in Stock Now
The Vietnam Cashew Association (Vinacas) said local companies now have 30,000 tons of cashew nuts worth VND2.805 trillion in stock as of January 2009.
The association said the company will buy around 400,000 tons of raw cashew nuts in this year. The inventory will be consumed by April 30, 2009.
Of the total 100,000 tons of cashew nuts, the companies will export around 70,000 tons, while keeping 30,000 tons for export in 2010.
The companies have so far this year signed contracts to export 10,000 tons of cashew nuts. (Labor)
