Vietnam Telecom Provider Inks Deals with 12 Partners Worldwide in February
MobiFone, Vietnam’s second-largest mobile phone network, had signed cooperative pacts with 12 partners worldwide in February, 2009, signaling its strong development in recent times.
The partners included those in India, Indonesia, Israel and Mauritius
With the deals, the local firm has connected with around 200 networks worldwide to date.
MobiFone has reported 13.5 million subscribers by May 2008, occupying 27.8 per cent of the local mobile phone market share.
It is expected to hold the market share of 50 per cent after the share sale. (Industry & Trade)
