Tien Dat Furniture has constantly consolidated its foothold on the export wood market for over the past 10 years and has become an increasingly reliable trademark.
Founded in June 1999 with initial factory acreage of 1 hectares, a workforce of 400 workers and a monthly output of 15containers, Tien Dat Furniture has endlessly strived to increase annual sales to US$20.1 million in 2006, US$30.2 million in 2007 and US$36 million in 2008. Its factories now cover 19 ha and employ more than 3,000 workers. The monthly output is 180 containers.

This achievement is the result of uninterrupted effort of all people in the company and the governance of the leaders. Effectiveness in every action plan, optimisation of each production stage, strong application of advanced administration programmes and rational investment of modern equipment have created diversified products of high-quality. This is the foundation for the absolute trust of the company’s partners on global markets.

Apart from traditional customers in EU nations like France, the UK, Germany, Belgium and Italia, the company has expanded its network to new markets like the US, Argentina, Russia, Australia and Eastern European countries. Timbers are imported and compatible with certifications like Forest Stewardship Council (FSC) and Tropical Forest Trust (TFT). The production is governed by ISO 9001-2000 certification and FSC Chain of Custody programme (COC).

All these factors create a perfect production model in all aspects and ensure a long-term solid foundation. Higher governance levels and market expansion plans attract more customers to the company. The Tien Dat Furniture trademark has been affirmed by the trust of customers, which ensures the sustainable development for the company.

With the operating principle of “each worker is a decisive element to the existence and development of the company,” Tien Dat Furniture Corp has never overlooked human resource development. Its employees are paid monthly VND2 million on average while enjoying all legitimate treatments. The working environment is continuously improved to create the best atmosphere for all workers. In addition, non-office activities like travel are regularly organised to improve the spiritual life.

The ongoing global economic recession is now the biggest threat to all enterprises but Tien Dat Furniture Corp is still confident of its development with the Vietnamese economy and the wood industry thanks to its business background.
