Hong Ky Mechanics Manufacturing and Commerce Limited Company is a leading factory specialising in lumber processing in Vietnam with more than 20 years of experience in mechanics.
Possessing a modern machinery system under the Japanese advanced technology with technical means being carefully invested, automated, and professionally designed and a skillful team of engineers and workers, Hong Ky has produced hundreds of lumber processing machines of diversified models and functions like lumber joining assembly line, types of sawmill - cutter - mill - planer, drillers, rough rubbers and many other tools to completely meet the local market demand.
Hong Ky has continued improving product quality and developing new machine models to serve the global and domestic wood industry. In particular, the Company has invested in new technologies with a number of CNC highly precise mechanical processing machines (Computer Numerical Control) to replace the old technologies, marking a distinct advance in quality. Apart from the local market, Hong Ky intends to open up the consumption market, redirecting exports to Laos, Cambodia, Thailand, and India, and looking for new potential markets.
By its own product quality and advantages such as low price, half or two thirds less than the price of imported machines, good warranty and after-sale service, free repair and replacement of components during warranty period, the trademark of Hong Ky lumber processing machine has gained confidence and high evaluation from enterprises in the domestic wood processing industry. With that success, Hong Ky has been granted with ISO 9001: 2000 certificate and certificate of merit from the Ministry of Science and Technology, and being an official member of Hawa - Handicraft and Wood Industry Association of Hochiminh City.
Year 2008 witnessed a lot of fluctuations in the global economy. In such context, Hong Ky also faced many difficulties and negative impacts on its business performance. Price of oil and gas rose in June and July leading to plunge in consumption demand for the Company's products. Furthermore, banks tightened lending; enterprises were unable to expand investment in production and fell into the hard situation. However, with the clear-headedness and experiences of doing business, the Company Executive Board found out timely and appropriate ways to steer the Company through the crisis. The Company's turnover last year reached VND100 billion, a worthy number for the best efforts of the Executive Board and the entire staff. The foundation for this success is encouragement and motivation pushing the Company to rise to new heights. “We are not satisfied with the present achievement.
