Ministry Seeking Gov’t Nod for Domestic Trade Promotion Program
The Vietnamese Ministry of Industry and Trade (MoIT) has submitted a VND52-billion (US$3.07 million) program to stimulate, boost the consumption of locally-made goods in the local market, said the ministry.
The project will focus on improving local businesses’ capacity via market and market distribution network inspection and survey mainly for food-foodstuff, apparel and footwear.
More seminars and farm produce fairs will be held to boost sales.
It will also prioritize propaganda activities to boost sales of locally-made products in rural areas and industrial parks. (Labor)
