Exhibitions on Shop Industry and Int’l Franchise to Open

The Vietnam National Trade Fair and Advertising Company (Vinexad) and South Korea’s Coex held a press conference in Ho Chi Minh City on March 31, 2009 to introduce the Vietnam International Shop Industry Show (VISIS) 2009 Vietnam International Franchise Show (VIFS) 2009. The two events are scheduled to take place at the Saigon Exhibition & Convention Centre (SECC) from September 10 - 12, 2009.

 

This completely new event is also supported by Korea International Trade Association (KITA), the South Korea’s Ministry of Knowledge Economy (MKE) and interested international associations.

 

At the press conference, Mr Hyun Seung Tae, CEO of Coex, said: “VISIS / VIFS 2009 will be a meeting place for companies from South Korea as well as other nations in the world to exchange knowledge and make inroads into Vietnam.” VISIS will display shop arrangement, shop equipment, retailing technology and machinery sales promotion. Meanwhile, VIFS will showcase franchised products like foods, retailed products, business consultancy and publications.
