HCM City Q1 Retail Sales, Services Up 18.3 per cent to VND62.1 Tln
Ho Chi Minh City reportedly obtained total retail sales and services revenues of VND62.1 trillion (US$3.67 billion) in the first quarter of this year, up 18.3 per cent on-year, said the municipal Statistics Office.
The figure accounted for 23 per cent of the country’s total earnings during the period.
State-owned sector made revenues of VND9.95 trillion, up 1.9 per cent, non-state-run sector of VND49.86 trillion, up 22.5 per cent and foreign-invested sector with VND2.3 trillion, up 12.1 per cent. (Vietnam Banking Times)
