Vietnam Southern Province Licenses US$71M Agricultural Project
People’s Committee of Mekong Delta Vinh Long province has given a license to the International Seafood JSC to carry out an agricultural project with total investment of VND1.2 trillion (US$72 million).
The company will build an animal and aquatic feed plant with capacity of 20 tons per hour; a seafood processing plant with capacity of 200 tons a day, a rice husking plant with capacity of 50 tons per hour and a frozen storage with capacity of 1,500 tons.
The project will cover more than 11 hectares in Co Chien IZ, Thanh Duc commune, Long Ho district.
The animal feed plant is scheduled to start operation in November 2009; the husking plant, November 2010; while the seafood plant and the storage is expected to run in April 2011. (Youth, vinhlong.gov.vn)
