US$33.3M Equipment Supply Contract Signed for Khe Bo Power Project

The consortium of Yunnan Machinery & Equipment Import & Export Co., Zhejiang Funchunjiang Hydro Power Equipment Co., and Dong Anh Electrical Equipment Manufacturing Joint Stock Co. will provide, transport, and install electrical equipment worth US$33.3 million for Khe Bo hydropower project in central Nghe An province.

 

The equipment supply agreement was signed on Saturday between the Vietnam Power Development Joint Stock Company and the consortium in Hanoi.

 

The plant, with capacity of 100 MW and total investment of VND2.453 trillion (US$144.29 million), is expected to contribute around 444.8 million kWh of power to the national electricity grid once fully operational in late 2011. (icon.com.vn)
