US$20-Mln Carbon Ferrochrome Plant Kicked off in Central Vietnam
Thanh Hoa Ferrochrome Ltd., Co. has just started construction of a high carbon ferrochrome plant worth US$20 million at the Nghi Son Economic Zone in northern central Thanh Hoa province.
The plant to be outfitted with the most advanced Chinese technology will have capacity of producing 25,000 tons of high carbon ferrochrome per year.
Once completed in the next 12 months, the plant, which will employ about 500 workers, will be one of the largest of its kinds in the Southeast Asia. (Vietnam Economic Times)
