Many Activities to be Held in Vietnam to Celebrate European Day

European Days has claimed a prominent position on the calendar after five celebrations. The audience size increases annually, which shows how much Vietnamese people are attracted to European culture- said Ambassador Sean Doyle, head of EU Delegation about activities to be held to celebrate the 6th European Day.
 
Mr Sean Doyle said, from now until the beginning of June, there will be many activities to celebrate the European Day. Audiences in the four cities of Hanoi, Ho Chi Minh city, Da Nang and Hue will have a chance to enjoy cultural performances.
 
Numerous kinds of art like painting, sculpture, music, movies, and cultural activities such as the children’s drawing contest about gender equality, friendship football match between European and Vietnamese teenagers, European foods and beverages festival will reflect many aspects of Europe’s unity in diversity.
 
From the success of the previous celebrations, the program this year will continue the tradition and will develop the program for future celebrations, said Ambassador Sean Doyle.
