Vietnam Jan-May Apparels Exports to Japan +20 per cent at US$400M
Vietnam’s turnover value of apparel products to Japan grew 20 per cent on year to US$400 million in the first five months of this year, said the Vietnam Textile and Apparel Association (Vitas).
Vitas forecast that if domestic producers remain the current export pace till the end of the year, the country could pocket US$900 million - US$1 billion from the shipment of apparel products to the Japanese market in 2009. (Investment)
