More Foreign Footwear Makers Seeking Partnership with Vietnamese Cos
Nine leather and footwear enterprises from Switzerland, the U.K. and Chile have expressed wish to join hands with Vietnamese partners in the field, Ho Chi Minh City’s Association of Leather and Footwear said.
The municipal association said there are two retail companies from the U.K. seeking for Vietnamese suppliers of leather bags, suitcases and spare parts.
Six Chilean importers are in need of ordering child footwear, leather glove and slippers meanwhile one from Switzerland eyes a regular supplier of female leather shoes, the association noted.
Vietnam’s apparel industry is estimated to earn US$3.244 billion in the first five months, down 1.8 per cent on-year. (Investment)
