Commonwealth Bank of Australia Sees Vietnam as Key Market
Commonwealth Bank of Australia (CBA) has always considered Vietnam one of its key markets in Asia, expecting a long-term presence in the country, said CBA Executive Director Simon Blair at a meeting with an official of the State Bank of Vietnam (SBV).
At the meeting in Hanoi, on August 19, the director also highly applauded solutions by the Vietnamese government and the SBV to overcome the impacts of the global economic crisis.
He also expressed his belief that CBA would reap success in Vietnam with its experiences and strength.
CBA is one of the leading financial corporations in Australia and the largest retail bank in the country, providing a wide range of services such as banking, insurance, pension saving, funds management and investment.
CBA has its representative office in Hanoi and a branch in Ho Chi Minh City. (SBV)
