Hanoi August CPI Likely Up 0.47% On-Month
Hanoi’s statistics department estimated that its consumer price index (CPI) for August will likely be up 0.47%, up from July and rising 4.02% from a year earlier.
Most of the basket of commodities posted a slight rise which ranged 0.09%-1.86%, up from a month earlier, the department said.
Food, drinks and tobacco were down by 0.21%-0.74%, it added.
The CPI estimates are normally released before the end of every month. (chinhphu.vn
